Our Story
Hello and welcome to Kidz Dreamz. I am Andrew and this is my small family owned business. We are a young family of five, living on our rural property on the beautiful mid north coast of NSW.
A Bit About Us
Our current life is your pretty average Australian family. I have a career in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Manufacturing like Tooheys Brewery, Berri Juices and now Nestle and my wife Kerrie is currently a busy stay at home mum to our three young boys. She has previously worked in the transport industry for DECA Training and Linfox Logistics, as well as various side ventures including as a distributor for Kaszazz card making and scrapbooking supplies and catalogue deliveries.
As a family we love going camping in the great outdoors, playing board games and working on our property to to grow our own produce, from freshly laid eggs from our chickens to our mango and avocado trees and our ever growing vegetable patch.
We love being involved in our local community, from selling produce and craft items at the local community markets, volunteering in committee roles for Scouts, sporting clubs and our local progress association and being a part of our local playgroup and Country Woman’s Association.
We created Kidz Dreamz as a way to develop quality children’s toys and create a future where we can spend more time with our boys. We recently took the boys away camping for the long weekend. They loved having uninterrupted time with us and we really enjoyed spending time with them. Between work, volunteering and other activities, I miss seeing them grow and change. My goal is to replace my work income with income from this business so that I can manage my time around when the boys need me.
Its taken us two years to get to this point in our online retail journey. From investing in professional development to researching and finally producing our product, it has been a labour of love and we’re so excited to share what we think is an amazing toy product with you.
Our 1st product – Speed Roads Circuit
I came across this product in a search online, and I instantly thought “what a winner”. At the time, our eldest child Mr W was about two years old, and we wanted somewhere for him to be able to store toys. The sample product came out and he loved it!
The box fit nicely on our bookshelves and held heaps of the toy cars that he had collected in a very short space of time. I really enjoyed working with the graphic designer on the outer packaging box. I wanted something colourful and fun, and I got what i was looking for and more!
The best is yet to come!
Our journey at Kidz Dreamz has just begun and we’re so excited that you are joining us. We can’t wait to change our families life and at the same time we are excited to help out others along the way. Our first initiative is donating $1 from every sale to children’s charities. We will keep you posted with this in our Dreams Met section. We can’t wait to show you what we have instore for the future.
